Being disappointed about your performance, holding grudges towards a coach who isn’t giving you enough play time, or being angry at your child for not telling you she lost her shoes, every day situations like these pop up in our lives. If you choose to let negative feelings in (anger, resentment, disappointment, judgement, etc) you will only attract more negativity.

There is a choice you can make when it comes to dealing with a negative situation or person. If I would tell you that everything that happens in my life and every person I come across gives me two options, you will see that life can be a lot easier to deal with. Feelings involve way more than you might realize. As soon as something happens to you, or you meet someone, your feelings will give out a signal. Feelings are related to your five senses. To keep things really simple here, I have only two choices in dealing with my feelings. They are either going to be positive or negative.

Now changing a negative situation or negative person is not easy. Changing how you feel about a situation or person is. So the next time you feel challenged and you tend to allow anger, frustration, fear, criticism or guilt into your thoughts and feelings, think twice.
Try to distance yourself from the situation and focus on things that bring out positivity. Feelings that reflect love, excitement and gratitude will help you turn the corner in living a positive life!
